Mayor Joedith Gallego Drives New Recreation Space Forward With Silay’s First LGU RC Park

Silay City Mayor Joedith Gallego led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting for the city’s newly opened RC Park, hailed as the first LGU-operated RC park in the province.

Gallego was joined by Vice Mayor Tom Ledesma and City Councilor Mike Maravilla in officially opening the new space for remote-controlled vehicle enthusiasts and the growing RC crawler community.

The park gives hobbyists a dedicated place to gather, play, and enjoy their passion while adding another recreational attraction for Silaynons.

For Mayor Joedith, the project is another way of creating spaces where communities with shared interests can come together and enjoy the city.
